In 2017, Trippie Redd signed for 10K Projects, releasing his debut album as one of the label’s first artists. Five years down the line, the rapper has 8 EPs, four studio albums, six mixtapes, and about three dozen singles. All this work has earned him 15 Platinum and 8 Gold RIAA certifications.
Elliot Grainge is the CEO and founder of 10K Projects. In an interview, Grainge said that the company aims to help artists achieve creative freedom while supporting their vision.
“Trippie Redd has thrived under these conditions, releasing a lifetime’s worth of music in just five short years and becoming a singular voice in contemporary music. I know I speak for everyone at the label when I say I am so honored and humbled to be able to continue our extraordinary partnership with Trippie for years to come,” he added.
Trippie Redd also expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm, saying: “Elliot signed me when I was 16. From the start, he’s always pushed me to do everything on my own terms, which is the most important thing to me. I’m grateful to have had him as a partner for this long, and I’m excited to make more hits with 10K and keep growing together.”
The rapper released his much talked about single, “Miss The Rage” feat. Playboi Carti sometime in May 2021, peaking at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. By December of the same year, the song had already received its Platinum Certification.
Trippie Redd also released a project in August 2021 called Trip At Knight. The album featured JuiceWRLD, XXXTentacion, Lil Uzi Vert, Polo G, and many other prominent artists. This debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In a recent post on Instagram, Trippie claimed to have signed a three-project, three-album deal with 10K Projects. He also talked about charging between $250,000 and $400,000 for performing at live shows.
Hinting at his soon-to-be-released album, A Love Letter To You 5, he told his fans to expect it sometime this year.
